Tolu Akinwale
Vice President
Tolu Akinwale is the Vice President of the Board at Gifted Hands Foundation. Tolu has worked in the non-profit industry as an Executive Fellow at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation in Arlington, VA, where he was primarily responsible for supporting research projects and initiatives to advance pharmacists’ roles in improving public health. He also served as the Foundation representative to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) PROTECT Initiative and Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) on emergency preparedness and response.
Having lived in three countries with different cultural backgrounds, Tolu’s personal and professional experiences have reinforced his belief that the concept of charitable giving is universal. He has participated in several charitable causes that promote health and wellness. Tolu holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Ilorin, Nigeria and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Midwestern University, Chicago. He can be reached at tolu.akinwale@yahoo.com.
